A complex document can be treated like any other complex machine.
Text in a document builds a complex structure in a person’s head. When Orion reads the text, it also builds a complex active structure, but this time in machine memory, where it may be poked and prodded, in the same way a physical machine is tested.
A large organisation will produce many documents over the course of a year, but most organisations spend almost no time assessing their quality. Some of the documents may form the basis of projects worth hundreds of millions or billions of dollars, or set in place contractual arrangements that last for decades, making the knowledge within the documents highly valuable. Up to now, ensuring document quality has been too hard.
With the introduction of Automated Domain Analysis, the ability of a machine to expand its modelling to handle the diversity in documents allows a much greater level of detail in QA.
